- Alan Dunlop Agricultural Machinery was founded in 1968 when Mr Alan Dunlop, a well known agricultural machinery salesman in County Down, Northern Ireland, opened a new business at Killinchy. The company retails its products throughout Ireland and the UK.
- The company's inaugural agencies included David Brown tractors, Blanch-Lely, Bentall, Teagle and Ruston Engineering. Alan was also appointed sole distributor for Amazone fertiliser sowers for Northern Ireland.
