My life has been centered around music since early childhood when my father would play Dixieland jazz records, my older brother brought home music ranging from the Kingston Trio to Harry Belafonte, and Elvis was very much alive and shaking the entertainment world with Rock & Roll.

As a child of the 1960s, I experienced the growth of singer/songwriters like Dylan and Lennon and McCartney, where music did more than entertain, but defined a generation, and which continues to influence my life today. Born in the great Pacific Northwest, I have experienced and learned to appreciate some of the best that mother earth has to offer and I continue to incorporate my love for the environment in all of my work.

I owned a restaurant and nightclub called Sweet Revenge in Portland, Oregon in the early 1980s.
