Alexandria Rugby Club was established in 2003 by a group of expatriates missing playing rugby and all the fun that goes with that. The club is an active and developing club with the aim of promoting rugby in Egypt, teaching players the laws of the game, providing a safe and competitive environment to play the running game. One of the key objectives of the club is to establish a strong Egyptian national based team.
