In the middle of the depression, a newly married Italian immigrant with his wife began a flower business with greenhouses in Alexandria, Virginia. Joseph and Mary Teresi worked day and night starting what is now one of the most successful retail florists in America. In the last forty years their oldest daughter, along with their experienced staff of many years, have continued a tradition of personal attention to every order. Flower arrangements are freshly made and delivered by Alexandria Floral Company’s own trucks. Nina Carroll refuses to fall into the practice of pre-made arrangements and phones answered by machines. When you call this busy florist you will be greeted by a pleasant, knowledgeable floral consultant who is happy to take care of your individual floral needs.

Our shop is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
