About The Alfa Workshop

Back in 1985 I worked by day as a mechanic for a Volkswagen garage, and evenings and weekends I used to repair both my Alfa Sud Sprint (KMR766X unfortunately now written off in a rear end shunt) and all my friends Alfa Romeos. In 1988 I bought my 1750 Bertone Coupe and decided that I would start up on my own. At that time the model range consisted of 33s, 75s and 164s and these were largely maintained by main dealers. The market needed some independent specialists as many independent garages refused to work on Alfa Romeos, and those that did, hadn't got the necessary specialist equipment to service them properly.
