- The British Inflatable Hirers Association (BIHA) was launched in December 2000, by the founder, Mark Jerram, and thirty Founder Member companies from all around the
- Before the BIHA, there was no central organisation for inflatable operators to get advice and help on subjects such as PL insurance and terms and conditions of hire. Also, many newcomers into the industry had no formal guidelines as to the do’s and don’ts of how to correctly (and safely) set up a bouncy castle or other play inflatable. In addition, many newcomers did not know how to correctly market and advertise their business to give them the best possible chance of success.
- The BIHA has been successful in bringing the inflatable hire industry together so that information and ideas can be widely shared amongst the members.
