- The All-Star Buglers are a group of professional race track buglers and associate buglers who perform "First Call" along with many other fanfares and tunes at major horse racing events around the country. The group was founded by Mark O'Keeffe in July 1997 while he was employed as the official track bugler at Delaware Park near Wilmington, Delaware. While there is a core group, the buglers come from all around the country and are selected with regard to their availablility and the location of the scheduled performance.
- Why are they called The All-Star Buglers? Well, consider this: The race track bugler is the most visible person at the race track.
