- Hello, my name is Bethany and I am obsessed with organizing things. I'm not sure if I got into scrap booking because I wanted to create and preserve or simply because I love to shop and organize. LOL I have gone from a small cabinet in my dining room to storage space in my closet to my own studio (okay, okay...it is also my guestroom/office, but studio sounds so much fancier!). No matter how large or small my space it, my basic organizing needs are the same: embellishments (large and small), paper, tools and workspace. My husband, Billy, laughs that I change my organizational styles about as often as some women change shoes. For example, my ribbon storage. First, I wound them on bobbins and put them in a floss box, but they got kinks in them. Next, I tried a bead carousel, but it was not sturdy enough. Then came the famous tie the ribbons to a hanger (my hubby asked if I was making a hula skirt) and hang them up. Right now I have a rolling cart and my ribbon is sorted by color and put in baggies. Who knows what idea I will come up with next!
