- Lieberman's claim of Lamont distorting his position on Iraq is confusing. The point I took from Lamont was that Lieberman supported the illegal war, which Lieberman hasn't denied. Instead, Lieberman is talking in circles, and him saying that we should've sent more troops in doesn't change that fact, neither does a last minute cry for Rumsfield's resignation. I'm not a Bush fan by any stretch of the imagination, but Lieberman looks like a man desperate to become president, which is what tainted my opinion of Gore.
