ALPEN was established in 1997 providing a line of binoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes and accessories we believe offer the best value in the industry today. Our objective is to provide great quality optical products at affordable prices for people who work hard for their money and are tired of paying too much for the big 'brands' and want a company that stands behinds its products. Alpen is the only sports optics company to have won 6 Great Buy awards as seen in the Outdoor Life magazine annual gear test issue. Alpen has been written about by many optics 'guru's' that attest to our ability to provide great quality products at significantly lower costs than comparable products sold by the 'traditional' brands.
We are a family owned company and not so big that we lose sight or compassion for our customers. We are not a big corporation like Nikon or Bushnell and you won't get the normal run around when you call us and we really strive to make you happy with our products. And we like to have fun too! We appreciate all the great customers who are using our products and we always look forward to hearing from anyone who has a suggestion or just wants to talk about your outdoor adventure.
We offer over 70 products and accessories and we invite you to check them out. All our products are backed up by our lifetime factory warranty. Yes, our products are made in Asia...China for the entry and mid level products and Japan for the upper end products.....just like Nikon, Bushnell and Leupold. You think these companies make products in the USA and Japan? Not necessarily so. They get most of their products from China....look at the country of origin on the product (as required by US Law) and you will discover most of their products are not made in the USA or Japan. This does not mean the products are poor quality. Many China factories have great quality and Nikon, Leupold and Bushnell offer some great produts from these good factories too....but they just charge too much because they think their brand name should command a premium price. We are proud of our Alpen name also but we just don't feel you need to pay a premium price just to have a name. So if you are tired of paying exorbitant prices from the traditional brands and want to experience top quality optical products at a fair price then try our Alpen line of binoculars, spotting scopes and riflescopes.
