Altitude Adjustment
Description
Excerpted from the website:
- Skiing, hiking, mountain biking, running, climbing and often just walking in high altitude environments can sometimes cause headache, nausea, insomnia, fatigue and shortness of breath. These discomforts are triggered by "thin" air -- air containing fewer oxygen molecules. A study, conducted at Colorado ski resorts in 1993, found 65% of travelers developed some of these discomforts within the first 12 hours of arrival.
