- Altro Mare was born out of the enthusiasm of Italian skipper Maurizio Pazzelli and a few of his friends who were equally passionate about the sea. And to match that enthusiasm, over 30 years’ experience sailing the most beautiful seas in the world. This is a project founded on one certainty: there are still many corners of the world where the sea is not just a “tourist attraction”, places where the sea still offers you the pleasure of rediscovering a slower pace of life, far from crowded beaches; places where spotting dolphins and manta rays isn’t just a lucky or a rare occurence. These are seas where the water is bright, clean and of a thousand different colours, where everything from a simple swim to a deep-sea dive is an experience that will always be a part of you. This is a project made of places, and of a boat, and the jewel in the crown of Altro Mare is the Boreas, a splendid wooden-hulled, three-masted schooner that will carry you over the waters in absolute tranquility and absolute comfort.
