They worked hard to bring East Hartford Aircraft Federal Credit Union (EHAFCU) to Pratt & Whitney to serve the credit needs of its employees. The Great Depression allowed credit unions like EHAFCU to prosper by providing secure alternatives to banks, since many failed under the economic hardship of the times.
