- We are the only non-profit organization providing post-rehabilitative servives to stroke survivors. Our activities include speech, occupational activities of daily living, classes, reading, writing, support groups, and caregiver services. Stroke affects nearly four out of five Americans -- either themselves or someone they know. Stroke is the number one cause of adult disability, leaving two of every three survivors with significant physical and emotional after effects.
