- The humanities have been under fierce attack in recent years and received less and less attention by the ones that should have been protecting it: education ministers. The cutting back of the costs for the study in the humanities in universities and high schools has been done with little remorse by politically driven government officials inside many Ministries of Education in Europe. In the name of cost-cutting and public demand these measures have been defended year after year.
- Since 1990 the AMSU has drawn in a rich array of institutional partners, from museums to media centres, science foundations to policy consultancies.
