We started raising cocker spaniels about twelve years ago. We had always had a dog, but our daughter wanted a buff cocker spaniel to name “Puddles”. We gave her money to purchase her dream dog. She came home with a black and white, “suppose to be”, cocker spaniel. Boy did those people see her coming, no AKC paper and no health record were offered. Anyway, whatever she was, she was sweet.
Our next cocker was a beautiful black named Licker-ish. Then I (Susan) had to have a chocolate named “Boogy”. All of these early cockers have passed away now. They sure have got us hooked on this beautiful and companion pleasing breed.
We have spent the last ten years striving to improve the quality and bloodlines of our cockers. We feel we have succeeded.
