- About Our Olive Oil
- Ana Marie Organic Olive Oil is solely produced by the Cordeiro family on their farm located in the Villarica Valley of northern Portugal. For well over five generations, Ana Marie's family has carefully taken advantage of the microclimate found within this valley to cultivate the 100,000 olive trees which produce the world's finest organic olive oil. Working with several other farms in the region, the Cordeiros have followed the government guidelines and Organic Standards which allow their farm to be kept as an organic producer. One such practice is, instead of using herbicides and insecticides, sheep are encouraged to graze within the olive groves to keep the crops free of weeds and pests.
