- Troop 280 has been chartered by New Hope United Methodist Church in Anderson since 1965. We have recently added our 22nd Eagle in the troop. Although a small troop, Troop 280 continues to hang in there and is always open for new membership opportunities. - Troop 280 serves grades 6 - 12. Scouts go to various schools in the area, including Lakeside Middle, Southwood Middle, Westside High and Crescent High. Cub Scouts from Centerville Elementary and McLees Elementary feed into the troop. -
