- Recording artist Andy Anderson's passion for music began in the 1950's, when he was the lead singer for the Flattops, did guest appearances with the Embers Band and shared the stage with many famous recording artists, such as Fats Domino, Little Richard, and Chuck Berry. Andy also appeared on American Bandstand. As a recording artist with Crown Music in New York City, Andy and the Flattops enjoyed such hits as "The Dream Of My Life" and "All The Time." In the early 1960's Andy was a member of the well known folk group The Tranquill Valley Trio. He was also a member of the famous New Jersey-based Masterworks Chorus in the late 1960's and directed the North Carolina-based His Way Singers in the late 1970's.
