- Anko was formed with the brief to make sure that software that collected together all the information they had hiding in spreadsheets in marketing that was replicated in an Access database in rights that was copied to the website (and so on) was available to all publishers.
- So we set out to build cross platform software that mirrored the book publishing process. Starting with the title and creating commonsense, intuitive links between any piece of information that is needed for the production and marketing of that title. We never really understood why the majority of our competitors only supplied software that ran on PCs.
