- I have not always been a Garden Designer. I was a Nurse for eighteen years both in the UK and abroad, but it was moving into my current house with its high maintenance garden that made me decide to pursue a career in horticulture. So, I swapped the operating theatre for the greenhouse and went back to college, a daunting task with a young family.
- Whilst studying Horticulture in Glasgow I designed a garden for Yorkhill Children's Hospital and spent many wet weekends building it.
