Government of Sierra Leone has been concerned with the alarming rate of corruption and its adverse effect on nation building, and has been consulting with various donors and seeking technical assistance to reduce the scale of corruption. Steps were taken to formulate an Anti-Corruption bill, whose provisions were discussed on a nationwide basis and eventually enacted by Parliament on 3rd February 2000 following which was the setting up of the Anti-Corruption Commission to implement the Act. This is the official website of the Anti Corruption Commission.
