- Katherine Yellen has achieved the Certified Appraiser status by undertaking an intensive course of study in appraisal principles and passing rigorous examinations on the theory and practice of professional appraising. Attaining this designation is a major professional achievement for an antique appraiser and there are only a handful of Certified Personal Property appraisers currently working in the state of Connecticut. Katherine has been certified by the ISA for both Antiques & Residential contents as well as Fine Art. She continues building her knowledge by attending appraisal conferences and taking specialty coursework including Tibetan art, American & European furniture construction, Legal requirements for serving as an Expert witness and Appraisal methods for handling Damage/Loss claims.
