Ok, my name is Tarquin Rees and I am a postgraduate student at Edinburgh University writing a Phd. thesis on the Sufi movement the Malamatiyya and their relationship to Eastern Christianity and the Greek school of the Cynics.
Currently living in Barcelona, Spain (when not in Edinburgh) and attempting to pay for my ongoing studies by a spot of Web Design and by dealing in antique Tribal Rugs and Islamic art.
In between fanatically following the Barcelona football and Wales Rugby teams there may well be vain attempts to relax by playing Go, collecting ancient magical manuscripts and solving cryptographic puzzles. I am currently working on a great unfinished novel.
