Association of Oregon Community Development Organizations

The Association of Oregon Community Development Organizations (AOCDO) is a nonprofit association of those engaged in and those who support affordable housing development and economic development throughout Oregon. (See our list of members)
Founded in 1992, AOCDO is the only statewide association focused on community development in Oregon. AOCDO's goals are to promote quality programming, healthy organizations, and advocate public policy that supports community-based development and programs that have a lasting impact on the people in Oregon's communities.
Worked with the Department of Revenue to write the rules for the new property tax special assessment. At last report, 350 properties has applied for the special assessment, and properties that have already received the exemption are saving between 40-60%.
