In 1989, Mr. Johnson earned his Juris Doctor degree from De Paul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. He went on to serve the City of Chicago's department of law as Assistant Corporation Counsel, where he worked in Special Prosecutions. He gained extensive experience in real estate law by litigating a wide range of real property cases in court and before the compliance board.
