- In January 1989 Alex and Yvonne Peters founded Alex Peters Machinery Ltd. The company was established with the sole aim of buying and selling second-hand printing and allied machinery. Alex has built up an impeccable background in machinery sales since then.
- And a pretty impressive printer at that! He was awarded the Apprentice of the Year Award in 1971 (NZ) and after that took up a position as a machinery representative with the New Zealand Heidelberg agents, with whom he later became the Auckland Manager.
