Excerpted from the website:
- Ngaire Williams and Debbie Farr started the Apple Basket business in September 1998. We bought an antique shop and started adding fabric and patchwork goodies to our stock. As we sold antiques we would buy more fabric.
- In December 1999 we bought premises down the road in Kaiwaka.
