- Membership is by audition, which occurs in early January for boys who are already 8 years old; and in May for boys who will be 8 years old by the following Christmas.
- A boy will start in the Repertoire Choir and progress through the Junior, Senior, Concert and Ambassador Choirs as his training progresses. A boy remains in the program through the end of his eighth grade year or until his voice changes - whichever comes first. He is then formally graduated and becomes an honored alumnus.
