- The Arc of Frederick County provides advocacy, access to resources, assistance in increasing individual and family connections for people with developmental disabilities. The organization seeks creative solutions to help people with developmental disabilities attain their goals.
- The Arc of Frederick County is a nonprofit agency established in 1958 by a group of Frederick County parents in order to develop programs for children and adults with mental retardation. Over the past 48 years, The Arc has helped establish a number of disability services in Frederick County, including a school (Rock Creek School), a residential program (Community Living), and supported employment programs (Scott Key Center and Jeanne Bussard Center).
