Built up over the last 35 years the photograph library now contains around 300,000 high quality colour transparencies in both 6x7 and 35mm formats. Geographically, the collection covers most corners of Britain, although it is particularly strong in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and along the borders of Wales. There are many fine images of the defining landscapes, vernacular architecture, villages, towns, castles, churches, bridges, farms and farming.
