- WHAT IS AREA 42?
- AREA 42 is Edinburgh's sci-fi and fantasy based social club. The club welcomes all those with an interest in the sci-fi and fantasy scene, as well as related genres such as horror or historical fiction.
- Our location means that we are able to provide a relaxed pub atmosphere, where those with similar interests can get together, have a 'few' drinks and chat about whatever we feel like chatting about!
- The club meets up every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month, downstairs at the Canon's Gait pub on the lower Royal Mile (Canongate) from 8pm onwards. The pub has a great selection of beers and ales (an essential requirement!).
