- village somewhere in central North Carolina or Southern Virginia. We're searching for suitable land consisting of at least 50 acres, but a larger parcel will enable us to increase the project scope. We intend to live lightly on the land, building simple, low-energy natural homes that limit our fossil fuel use as well as other resources. Ultimately, the farm will produce the bulk of our food, grown using organic practices and enabling us to limit our dependence on outside sources. We hope to grow enough to offer community supported agriculture (CSA) to the surrounding community.
