- Hi! My name is Lionel Hummel, the group's leader, and in the couple of years I've been involved, the one thing I've heard most often is that Arizona Adventurers is not your typical Jewish singles group. That's probably because first and foremost we're an all-volunteer Jewish outdoor club that just happens to draw many members from the local single population, not a singles group!
- Arizona Adventurers began in 1988 as a phone tree of Jewish single friends who like to hike and go camping. Today it has evolved into a volunteer-run outdoor activities group with over a hundred members. We have a bi-monthly newsletter, a web site, and a variety of email lists to let you keep up with all of the exciting goings-on.
