Association of Research Libraries

edit Description

ARL is a nonprofit organization of 123 research libraries at comprehensive, research-extensive institutions in the US and Canada that share similar research missions, aspirations, and achievements. It is an important and distinctive association because of its membership and the nature of the institutions represented. ARL member libraries make up a large portion of the academic and research library marketplace, spending more than one billion dollars every year on library materials.

Unless otherwise noted, copyright of the material on this server is held by ARL. Permission is granted to reproduce and distribute copies of the work for nonprofit educational or library purposes, provided that copies are distributed at or below cost, and that the author, source, and copyright notice are included on each copy. This permission is in addition to rights of reproduction granted under Sections 107, 108, and other provisions of the U.S. Copyright Act. These items may be further forwarded and distributed in the network, so long as the statement of copyright remains intact.
