- In July 2006 the ARMINFO News Agency celebrated its Five Anniversary. The agency is a factual successor of the SNARK News Agency, which was established in 1991 by a group of professional journalists. Immediately after its re-registration into ARMINFO, the agency continued expanding the sphere of "informational influence".
- Today the agency is considered the most successful private project in the sphere of mass media in Armenia.
