- Arodene German shepherd dogs are a relatively new kennel, having started breeding 10 years ago. Though we had been involved with shepherds and other breeds since the late ‘70s it is only since the Arodene affix was granted that we have been able to breed and exhibit seriously. We are very much a hobby kennel who breed and show for pleasure, and all our animals are seen as pets first and fore most, everything else they achieve is a bonus. Our priority when breeding is to produce animals that are sound in mind and body .
