About Art-Support
Art-Support.com is a resource for fine art photographers and other visual artists. The web site was created to help artist understand the business side of art. Our primary goal is aimed at providing information and art resources for artists. If you're an artists interested in selling fine art photography or any kind of visual art, or you're just interested in learning something about creating a successful career in art, you've landed on the right website.
Art-Support was started by Dan Fear and he currently directs it's growth. We first arrived on the Internet in the spring of 1995. A good friend and webmaster Gary Blakely, provided the early guidance and inspiration that was needed to get started. Over the years the website has grown and it will continue to grow.
Dan Fear's background includes; Artist and Art Consulting, Project Management, and Web Development. He has organized more than 272 photography exhibits and he owned and directed The Silver Image Gallery, a well known photography gallery for twenty years. He has also written two books on the business of art.
