Excerpted from the website:
- The mind/body/spirit connection is the theme underlying all my paintings. My goal is to touch and elicit viewers' previous experiences and imagination and draw him or her into participating in the artwork. I encourage the viewer to engage with the shapes and movement in the paintings through my choice of colour palettes and imagery.
- The technique in the paintings involves layering transparent and opaque glazes, building them slowly over time to produce depth, mystery and subtle variation.
