- One of Chicago's most versatile and respected freelance violinists, Artistrings leader Carol Kalvonjian has been performing professionally for over ten years. This Wisconsin native holds degrees in music and arts administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and additional graduate violin performance degrees from Northern Illinois University.
- Carol has appeared with many pop, jazz, and touring acts such as Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, The Three Tenors, The Three Irish Tenors, The Three Polish Tenors, Michael Feinstein, Kurt Elling, Ann Murray, Natalie Cole, Al Jarreau, The Moody Blues, ELO, Yes, and Bread. She has enjoyed performing with the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, as well as collaborating in recital performances with BlueNote recording artist Fareed Haque.
