- The Arts Council of Fairfax County connects artists from the Fairfax County community to diverse audiences including businesses, county schools, and residents through a range of programs from the annual Congressional Art Competition and Video Fairfax Competition for area youth artists, to a corporate art program and the reknowned International Childrens Festival that happens annually at Wolf Trap.
- In addition to providing enriching cultural experiences for Fairfax County residents, the council also acts as an advocate for our community's artists and cultural facilities by initiating convening town hall meetings and connecting artists to necessary resources.
- Our members include visual and performing artists and writers, as well as civic groups, businesses, arts presenting organizations, arts ensembles, galleries, parents, families, and arts patrons throughout Fairfax and the metropolitan DC area.
