Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesperson for Ashfield
Educated at Ashfield School in the heart of the Ashfield constituency, Wendy worked in the service industry and gained her HND (Business and Finance) whilst working full time, serving on Wiltshire County Council and raising her two children. She went on to study law at the University of the West of England in Bristol then qualifying as a Barrister at the Inns of Court School of Law.
She has wide local government experience having served two terms on Wiltshire County Council and on Swindon Borough Council since 1996 where she has been deputy leader of the Lib dem group since 1999.
Wendy has a daughter Amber who has 4 year old twins Liam and Charlotte.
