- The lovely Ashanti comes from a musical family in New York. She's multi-talanted being a singer, actress, model and fashion designer.In her very early days she was in the Disney television musical Polly. Her first big hit was "How We Roll" in 2001, and from that was brought to Murder Inc. Records. She featured on Ja Rule smash hit 'Always on Time'. Then she was gien the chance on her own and she took it with the chart breaking single 'Foolish'. Ashanti has provided us with record after record of pure quaility.
