- Ashby School is a 14-19 mixed comprehensive school. Previously known as Ashby Grammar School – (formed from an amalgamation of the Boys’ and Girls’ Grammar Schools in 1972) it has a long and proud tradition and is able to trace its history to 10 August 1567, when a Boys’ School was founded in Ashby. Our present flourishing 45 place Boarding House for boys (aged 12-19) is a direct descendent.
- The school is a Specialist Technology and Languages College – one of just a handful of schools in the country to be awarded specialisms in two areas.
