Founded in 1983 as an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Asheville Area Habitat builds within Buncombe County. We are scheduled to build 14 houses a year. We are currently building 5 houses in the Oakley area of East Asheville. In the upcoming year, we will build on land being developed in Enka.
