- The ASTC (Vic) provides members with a monthly e-mail newsletter, a quarterly printed journal, discounts and savings at Melbourne businesses, a contractor directory and a job referral service. Many organisations contact the ASTC (Vic) directly with technical writing jobs, rather than advertising.
- The ASTC (Vic) also holds monthly meetings on the first Thursday of each month. These meetings are free for ASTC (Vic) members; non-members pay a small entry fee.
