- Astraddle A Saddle, Inc. was started in 1980 by Faye and Gary Bramwell. Gary is a native of Pagosa Springs whose family on both sides have resided here for four generations. He was following his father, Floyd, since he was seven years old taking Trail Rides and Outfitting for Big Game Hunts. He also has worked as a Wrangler and has had horses in several Westerns including, "The Cowboys" with John Wayne, "Running Wild", "Bite the Bullet", "Two Against the Wind", "Silverado", "Longarm", "Desperado II", "Independence" and a National Geographic Special on Mustang Horses.
