Who We Are

The Associated Students of Washington State University is an organization consisting of elected and appointed officials who strive to serve the undergraduate students by acting as their liaisons between undergraduate students and university faculty, staff and administration. In order to better serve the students, ASWSU is divided into three distinct, separate branches: the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches.

The Executive Branch consists of a President and Vice President, the only two officials who are elected by the entire student body, who serve as the main spokesmen of undergraduate students at WSU. They appoint a cabinet, led by a Chief of Staff, to help improve and create university policies, events and activities to benefit the students.
