Now, a few words about atrium. This word means inner yard with the water pool in the ancient Greek's houses. They built this not only for a beauty but because of their climate. Dry wind brought the dust from the hot rocks and any window made essential inconveniences to the people. But they were very clever and invented the know-how to overcome these difficulties. The most of the windows in living houses opened on the inner yard which contained the water pool appealed to wet an air.
