- Audiphone Company has been a Cleveland landmark since 1930. We are probably the oldest hearing aid dispensing company in the United States. Audiphone was founded by J. Leland Utley, Sr., who realized the tremendous benefit hearing amplification brought to his quality of life. Mr. Utley was with Audiphone until his passing in 1962. His son, J. Leland, Jr. continues the family-owned tradition that remains until this day.
